AI Tinkerers is a registered trade name (DBA) of Sloppy Joe, LLC. They are the same business, not separate entities. Sloppy Joe, LLC, doing business as AI Tinkerers, operates aitinkerers.org, the Mixture of Experts dinner series, and the AI Tinkerers VIP Event Notifications SMS program.

This page documents the exact mobile-number verification and optional SMS-consent sequence offered after a VIP event reservation is accepted and confirmed, or from its confirmation email. Because the dinners are invite-only, this non-submitting reviewer preview makes the complete consent flow publicly accessible without requiring a login, invitation, phone number, or special permission.

Make an explicit messaging choice

Choose whether to receive event texts. The consent switch is off by default.

Keep email only

Send me optional VIP event confirmations, reminders, venue/address, logistics changes, and cancellation updates from AI Tinkerers by SMS. Message frequency varies, typically 2–4 messages per reservation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of reserving.

Turning on “Text me event updates” saves immediately and shows SMS reminders enabled for that reservation. No additional submit button is required. Keeping email only sends no event SMS. The guest can turn reminders off later for this event; replying STOP stops SMS globally.

This reviewer preview does not collect a phone number, send a verification code, create a reservation, or enroll a reviewer in SMS. The live SMS setup page uses this sequence and disclosure. Already verified numbers can be reused with an explicit event-specific choice.
